Terms of Service
1. Agreement to Terms
By inviting, installing, or using Nora within a Discord server, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, you must remove the bot from your server immediately.
2. Relationship with Discord
Nora is an independent application operating on the Discord platform. Our services rely entirely on the Discord API. Users must comply with Discord's official Terms of Service and Community Guidelines in all actions associated with the bot.
3. Description of the Service & Modifications
Nora is an automated community moderation and management ecosystem. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any features, layouts, or command syntaxes at any time without notice to maintain service stability and integrity.
4. Moderation Responsibility
Nora provides automated assistance systems (such as anti-raid gates and profanity filters). However, Nora does not replace human oversight. Server owners and designated administrators remain solely responsible for the actions of their staff and the moderation choices executed via Nora.
5. Command and Permission Usage
Nora acts strictly upon the permissions granted by server administrators. We are not liable for any misconfigurations or damage caused by granting excessive permissions (such as Admin, Manage Roles, or Manage Channels) to the bot.
6. Third-Party AI Interfaces
Some of Nora's features utilize third-party Artificial Intelligence APIs (including OpenAI and Google Gemini Beta). AI-generated content is provided for contextual aid and amusement. We do not guarantee the absolute accuracy, completeness, or safety of any automated AI responses.
7. Subscriptions and Payments
All financial transactions, premium subscriptions, and boosts are processed securely through Discord's official monetization portal. Nora does not collect, process, or store credit cards, billing addresses, or bank details.
8. Limitation of Liability
Nora is provided "as is" and "as available". The developers (Vaztinix and the Nora team) disclaim all warranties and shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from bot downtime, API bugs, or server administration errors.
Privacy Policy
1. Privacy-First Philosophy
Nora was founded on a strict Zero-Access architecture. We believe that your server's data is private. Developers have no backend overrides to read server chats, configuration logs, or private user details.
2. Data We Collect
To provide baseline functionality, Nora stores limited configuration data in our local SQLite database. This includes guild configurations, level XP scores, custom roles, log channels, and Roblox verification details. We do not store message history permanently.
3. Message Processing
Message content is processed in real-time memory strictly to enforce active moderation rules (AutoMod) or to supply context to chosen AI engines. This processing occurs in memory and is instantly discarded; it is never written to disk or logged.
4. AI Data Policies
We do not share your server's logs, member conversations, or leveling data with third parties to train machine learning models. Interactions with our AI features are sent only to designated API endpoints (OpenAI / Google Gemini) for real-time response generation.
5. User Sovereignty & The Kill Switch
We respect the right to be forgotten. Users can run the `/mycard` command inside Discord at any time to inspect their database record, and press the "Erase Data" button to instantly and permanently wipe their leveling statistics, XP, and profile records from the database.
6. Server Data Isolation
Every server is treated as an isolated container. Data, logs, settings, and XP systems generated in one guild are strictly isolated and are never shared or made visible to other servers.
7. Data Erasure upon Bot Removal
If Nora is kicked or removed from a guild, all stored configuration records and log parameters associated with that server ID are scheduled for deletion to keep our databases clean and protect your privacy.
