Transparency & Trust

1. Agreement to Terms

By inviting, installing, or interacting with Nora (the "Bot"), running slash commands (/) or prefix commands (n!, n?), accessing the Nora Studio Dashboard, utilizing Nora API endpoints, or linking third-party platform accounts (such as Roblox or Top.gg), you ("User", "Server Owner", or "Administrator") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any provision of these Terms, you must cease using all Nora services and remove the Bot from your Discord server immediately.

2. Relationship with Discord

Nora is an independent application operating on the Discord platform via the Discord Developer Gateway and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). Nora is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Discord Inc. All users and server administrators must comply with Discord's official Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and Developer Terms at all times.

3. Roblox Integration, Verification & Sync Services

Nora provides optional Roblox verification, group rank synchronization, and automated nickname binding services through official Roblox public APIs and OAuth2 integrations:

• Non-Affiliation Disclaimer: Nora is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, maintained by, authorized by, or endorsed by Roblox Corporation. "Roblox" is a registered trademark of Roblox Corporation.
• Account Ownership & Representation: By linking a Roblox account to your Discord account through Nora, you represent and warrant that you are the legitimate owner of or have explicit authorization to link the designated Roblox identity.
• Prohibition of Credential Sharing: Nora never asks for, intercepts, or stores your Roblox password, billing data, or .ROBLOSECURITY cookies. Verification is performed exclusively through official OAuth2 authorization or public bio/status code matching. You agree not to submit sensitive credentials to any command, interface, or webhook.
• Role & Rank Automation: When configured by server administrators, Nora automates role assignments and nickname prefixes based on public group ranks and verification records. We are not liable for rank sync discrepancies resulting from Roblox API outages, group permission changes, or server hierarchy misconfigurations.
• Roblox Terms Compliance: Users must comply with Roblox's official Terms of Use and Community Standards when interacting with verification features.

4. Top.gg Bot Directory, Webhooks & Voting Rewards

Nora integrates with Top.gg to offer community voting telemetry, streak tracking, and in-bot progression bonuses:

• Third-Party Platform Terms: Top.gg is an independent directory platform operated by Top.gg. Users must adhere to the official Top.gg Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
• Webhook Telemetry & Rewards: When you vote for Nora on Top.gg, Top.gg transmits an automated webhook to Nora's servers containing your public Discord User ID and voting metadata. Nora uses this payload solely to calculate your voting streak, apply XP or leveling multipliers, and award authorized community badges.
• Anti-Fraud & Anti-Botting Rule: Attempting to manipulate votes through automated bots, fake or alt accounts, proxy swarms, or unauthorized scripts is strictly prohibited. Nora Studio reserves the right to reset voting streaks, revoke all bonus XP/rewards, and ban offending user IDs from Nora's vote tracking and reward engines.
• Voluntary Reminders: Users who opt-in to vote reminder notifications may disable or mute these alerts at any time via dashboard preferences or in-bot commands.

5. User-Uploaded Media, Custom Images & Rank Card Storage Policy

Nora empowers users to customize their Discord leveling experience by configuring custom colors, borders, profile bios, and uploading custom background images for their rank cards and profile showcases:

• License Grant for Operational Rendering: By uploading or submitting an image asset to Nora, you grant Nora Studio a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, cache, resize, and render the image solely for the purpose of generating your customized rank cards, profile cards, and dashboard previews.
• Retention Period: Your uploaded image remains securely stored in our system until you actively select a different customization option (such as switching to a solid color preset, choosing a default theme, or uploading a replacement image) or execute a permanent data erasure request.
• Strict Content Guidelines (Zero Tolerance): All user-uploaded media and custom text must adhere to community safety standards. You agree NOT to upload, link, or display images that contain:
  • NSFW, sexually explicit, pornographic, or suggestive content
  • Depictions of violence, gore, hate speech, harassment, or extremism
  • Malicious code, exploit vectors, IP grabbers, or illicit substances
  • Copyright-infringing intellectual property or unauthorized personal photos of third parties
• Moderation & Revocation: Nora Studio administrators and automated safety filters reserve the right to immediately delete any uploaded media that violates these rules, revert the user's rank card settings to default, and permanently blacklist offending accounts from using media customization features.

6. Description of Service Systems

Nora provides automated community utilities, engagement mechanisms, and server telemetry modules, including:

• Multi-Mode Member Verification: Instant button, Anti-Bot CAPTCHA, Reaction verification, and Roblox Account Linking.
• Security & Anti-Raid System: Account age gates, avatar checks, lockdown triggers, and automated quarantine gates.
• AutoModeration Engine: Profanity filters, link blockers, mention spam caps, and automated enforcement actions.
• Support Ticketing & Help Desk: Interactive reaction/button panels, staff routing, transcripts, and auto-archiving.
• Progression & Leveling Engine: Experience gain algorithms, level-up announcements, role rewards, custom rank cards, and guild leaderboards.
• Starboard & Community Highlights: Reaction thresholds, custom emojis, webhook reposting, and channel filtering.
• Autoresponder & AI Bot Hooks: Custom keyword triggers, regex matches, and optional AI model interfaces.
• AFK Tracker & Collaborative Games: Status broadcasts, auto-nickname prefixing, counting games, and milestone stories.

7. Server Administration Responsibility & Human Oversight

Nora provides automated assistance to help server staff moderate and engage communities. However, automated systems do not replace human oversight. Server owners and designated administrators remain solely responsible for the actions taken by their moderators, the permissions assigned to the bot, and all custom rules, triggers, or tickets configured within their guild.

Nora acts strictly within the scope of Discord permissions granted by guild administrators. We are not liable for unintended outcomes resulting from granting broad permissions (such as Administrator, Manage Roles, or Manage Channels).

8. Prohibited Activities & System Protection

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Attempting to physically or digitally reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy the proprietary source code of Nora.
• Sending excessive, automated, or malicious requests to Nora's API endpoints, WebSocket gateways, or web dashboard to cause denial of service.
• Attempting to bypass security firewalls, permission hierarchies, anti-raid gates, or user blacklists.
• Using Nora to distribute malware, spam, phishing links, or promote illegal activities.

9. Subscriptions, Payments & Discord Monetization

All financial transactions, premium subscriptions, and virtual boosts are processed securely through Discord's official Application Directory Store and checkout system. Nora Studio does not collect, store, or process payment cards, banking information, or billing addresses.

10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Nora is provided strictly on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Nora Studio, its developers, and contributors disclaim all liability for:

• Temporary bot downtime, network latency, hosting interruptions, or maintenance windows.
• Third-party platform API disruptions (including outages of Discord, Roblox, or Top.gg).
• Data loss resulting from server deletion, accidental reset, or hardware failure.
• Server moderation decisions, unauthorized member actions, or administrative misconfigurations.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to revise or update these Terms of Service at any time to reflect new features, legal requirements, or security enhancements. Changes will be posted to this page with an updated "Last Updated" timestamp. Continued use of Nora after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
